About Me

I’m Bhargav Soni, a Sound Designer, Background Score Composer, and Location Sound Recordist based in Mumbai—originally from Bhuj, Kutch. Growing up, I was always drawn to movies, but I never realized how central sound would become to my life until I moved to Mumbai. It was here that I discovered sound design was a craft in itself. By then, I had already started producing music and composing, and once I explored sound design, everything clicked. I dove deep—into both music and sound design.

Since then, I’ve worked on a wide range of projects—independent films, shorts, web series, branded content, and more. My work spans production sound, post-production sound design, and music composition. I’m passionate about creating sonic experiences that feel honest and immersive—where sound doesn’t sit behind the visuals, but speaks with them.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working on films that have screened at some of the world’s most respected film festivals, including:
MAMI (Mumbai Film Festival) in 2023 and 2024, TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival), BIFF (Busan International Film Festival), BISFF (Bengaluru International Short Film Festival), BFI Flare (British Film Institute), GAZE Film Festival, and many more.
